Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is an autonomous organisation responsible for recruitment into the Indian Railways. As the recruitment officer, the main objective of the RRB is to recruit the best candidates into the Indian Railways.
To achieve this, the RRB offers two types of recruitment processes:
1. Online Process: In this process, candidates apply online, and their applications are reviewed online. The candidates are then selected based on their online scores, and they are notified about the same.
2. Offline Process: In this process, candidates apply in person, and their applications are reviewed by the RRB in person. After selection, the candidates are notified about the same.
The RRB is responsible for selecting candidates for the following posts:
1. Locomotive Repair and Drive (Livery and Fitting)
2. Carriage Repair and Drive (Colour and General)
3. Station Master (Assistants in charge of facilities like Train Driver, Station Master, Goods Guard, etc.)
4. Group D
5. NTPC
6. Technical Helper
7. Junior Engineer
8. Civil Services
